Magu is ready!

In the previous blogarticle I wrote how very important it is for us to see the community of Magu being involved into the project, and actually more than that, we want them to take ownership of it.

And... it is so beautiful to see, how they are into it. We knew that already before about several key persons of the village in church, but to see really a big part of the ordinary people commited about it, is amazing.

On the the 24th of May, Vital, Jannik, Prote and Remy went to Magu with the purpose of mobilizing and encouraging the community. We were explaining again the vision, the dream, and also what we expect and need from them. The video below gives you a little insight into it, even though you don‘t understand the language.

And the respose was outstanding. The Magu village is ready! For sure there are also questions, and some people are suspicious, but that is also a good thing, because thats the basis for communication and for listening to each other.

In the end they all started to prepare the land together, where the building will finally be build, which means cutting bushes, little trees etc….

We believe that communicating and listening to the people is more important than the building and all the programs that will happen inside itself.

We believe that communicating and listening to the people is more important, than the

building and all the programs that will happen inside itself. Being together with the Magu people is the foundation for a succesful project. Here you can read more about the role our rwandain

teammembers are playing in the whole project.
